RAIL BASICS

Forward Slides, 50-50s, Backward Slides over a Rail / Slider, FS180s, FS180 Rewinds & FS270s out

As soon as you gain confidence on the box, you will be magically drawn to the other obstacles in your wake park. Without going into detail about every single obstacle, we'll describe here what you can expect on the rails - the main difference between most obstacles and a box is (besides the height) above all that they don't offer such a wide contact surface for your board. In the further trick progression, we therefore only differentiate between boxes and rails, whereby a rail can also be a pipe, a narrow slider or something similar.

Back Board“, SW HS FS90 (Rail) „SW Back Board“, TS FS90 (Rail) „Front Lip“, SW TS FS90 (Rail) „SW Front Lip“)!

As soon as you have hit your first rails a few times, you now transfer all the basics from the box to the rails - so now it's your turn to include all variations of the 50-50s (Rail), the Backward Slides (Rail) look a bit more stylish here than on the box, while the FS180s (Rail) and FS180s Rewinds (Rail) already require good rail control (and a proper approach!). Since the rails are often a bit higher than the boxes, you have a little more time when exiting the rails - this calls for increasing your FS180 out of the box and instead jump from a backward slide FS270 outs (no handlepass)!
