Transfers
FS90 Transfers, 50-50 Transfers incl. FS180s, BS90 & FS270 Transfers; transfers with handlepass & invert transfers
Neben einem Ollie On um seitlich auf ein Obstacle zu gelangen bieten viele Obstacles selbst auch mehrere verschiedene „Lines“ – wenn man einen Transfer beherrscht, also beispielsweise von der Auffahrt oder einem seitlich stehenden Kicker auf ein anderes, oft seitlich dahinterliegendes, Rail oder Slider zu springen. Transfers können viel Spaß machen, durch die Landung auf dem Obstacle selbst bei Fehlversuchen aber auch schmerzhaft werden, weshalb sie trotz der niedrigen technischen Voraussetzungen eher als fortgeschritten kategorisiert sind. Der Schwierigkeitsgrad ist natürlich extrem abhängig vom Obstacle bzw. dem konkreten Setup des Transfers, z.B. wie weit das Lande-Rail vom Absprung entfernt liegt und ob ein Höhenunterschied überwunden werden muss. Grundsätzlich spielt aber auch die Anfahrt eine Rolle, sodass für den ersten Transfer nach Möglichkeit eine HS Anfahrt gewählt werden sollte – ist die Landung wie üblich auf einem Rail oder Slider empfiehlt sich ein Back Board Slide als sicherste Position beim Landen (HS TF-FS90 to Back Board). Im direkten Anschluss kommen die übrigen Transfers mit 90° Frontside Drehung dran (SW HS TF-FS90 to SW Back Board, TS TF-FS90 to Front Lip, SW TS TF-FS90 to SW Front Lip).
A higher level of difficulty awaits you at 50-50 Transfers, since the landing has to be aimed even better here - but then adding an additional FS180 rotation is no longer a big challenge while dialing up the style (50-50 FS180 Transfers). If your backward slides are safe, you'll enjoy the BS90 Transfers and FS270 Transfers - otherwise you might have panic attacks trying these.
Further rotations then mean an additional handle pass during the transfer, which further increases the level of difficulty; can you jump all variants with all approaches (BS180 transfers, BS270 transfers, 360 transfers, FS450 transfers, BS450 transfers)?
We have included another variant in the transfers, but you should only try it if you are absolutely sure of your thing - we cannot recommend it to anyone! These are the Invert Transfers, i.e. a back or front roll that is landed on a rail. Maybe even a backward slide if you like it even more crazy.
